FIVI
Joining the Italian Independent Winemakers Foundation (FIVI) was one of those spontaneous choices: giving a recognizable face to what we believe in and do every day. “The Independent Winemaker cultivates their own vineyards, vinifies their own grapes, bottles their own wine, and personally handles its sale, under their own responsibility, with their name and label.”
It means being part of a movement, together with many winemakers who share our same passion and philosophy.
Sbarbatelle
Sbarbatelle is an association of young Italian female winemakers under 40. The association is as young as its members: it was founded in 2024 to formalize a movement that began in 2017 as a tasting event promoted by AIS Piemonte. Isotta joined the association as soon as she started at the company, bringing enthusiasm and new ideas.
Biodistretto Appennino Bolognese
A Biodistrict is a territorial alliance aimed at promoting the sustainable development of that area. For several years now, Tomisa has been part of the Biodistrict of the Bolognese Apennines, together with more than 100 other members, including farms, livestock breeders, artisans, restaurateurs, ambassadors, and associations. The goal is to “protect small- and medium-sized agriculture that inhabits the countryside and help rebuild communities.”
Calanchiamo
CalanchiAmo network was created in June of 2021, with a “Territorial network agreement for proximity tourism and social inclusion”, shared with the municipality of Ozzano dell’Emilia. It includes over 25 different actors (farms, wineries, B&B, restaurants, riding stables, non-profit associations and social cooperatives) in the eastern area of the regional protected park Parco Regionale dei Gessi Bolognesi e dei Calanchi dell’Abbadessa.
The end goal of the Network is to highlight the value of this wide portion of the Park from an environmental, eno-gastronomical and touristic point of view with promising potential for eco-friendly development and social inclusion of people with employment difficulties involved in the activities and initiatives that are implemented.
