Our Cosmetics
Not only wine…
During the 2012 edition of the Sana fair in Bologna, the possibilities hidden behind the marcs (grapes’ scraps) of our organic grapes were shown to us. An acquaintance of ours, who works in the sector of natural make up, had already mentioned to us Frescosmesi, a young reality who could help us developed a line of products that could go with our wines. So, we decided, a bit for fun, to create a cosmetic line of three preparations made of Cabernet Sauvignon marcs: hand cream, body cream and body scrub.
We started proposing these products as Christmas gifts, and, given the positive feedback we received, we started selling them through some shops in Bologna and around the province and directly in our shop.
We think that being able to offer a local product is important, a product capable of speaking to the people that know and live the territory. We don’t rule out the possibility to expand the cosmetics range to offer with our main product, which obviously remains wine.

The lip balm with almond oil and shea butter moisturizes, nourishes and protects the lips, making them soft and silky.

This cream protects the skin from cutaneous aging caused by free radicals, thanks to polyphenols and anthocyanins present in red grapes. The formulation is completed with sugar, naturally present in the grapes too, and an accurate selection of oils and butters, which make this cream nourishing and moisturizing, perfect for the treatment and protection of the hand skin.

This scrub is formulated to clean the face skin delicately yet in depth, thanks to the mechanical peeling carried out by sweet almond kernels. The gel formulation makes it suitable for normal skin, but specially for combination and oily skin which need treatment done with light products. Red grapes extracts enrich the formulation with antioxidant properties.

This mask is designed to absorb the excess of sebum and rebalance normal and dry skins. Thanks to the white sebum-normalizing clay, the skin recovers pureness and wellbeing. Red grapes enrich the product of antioxidant polyphenols and the arugula extract reduces irritation with its soothing action, great ally against sensitive skins with easy redness.

The molecules present in red grapes’ skins are able to reinforce blood vessels and protect from cutaneous aging preserving the collagen and elastin of the skin. Daily application makes the skin more tonic and elastic, nourishing and moisturizing it.

The molecules present in the red grapes’ skins are able to protect the skin from cutaneous aging, preserving the collagen and elastin of the skin. Brown sugar has an exfoliating action, promoting the infiltration of active molecules, and nourishing dry skins.
